My wife and I will be in Hokkaido at the end of May and are looking to do a day trip into the hills from Sapporo to try Tenkara fishing. Does anyone have a guide or outfitter they can recommend? I also see conflicting reports of it even being open to fishing in that there’s usually still snow in the mountains this time of year.
