Nine Full Days in Tokyo Itinerary – certain places better on certain days?

Hello everyone! My husband and I will be in Tokyo for nine full days in a few weeks. Here is my tentative itinerary….mostly we want to explore and enjoy the neighborhoods, not stress out about reservations

**Thursday** – Arrive approximately 3:15pm at Haneda, make way to hotel in Ikebukuro (does this mean we will likely be on the trains during rush hour?) Stay around Ikebukuro

**Friday** – Shibuya and Shinjuku, Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building at night

**Saturday** – Jimbocho and Akihabara during day, Shinjuku or Shibuya at night (hope to see live music – house, techno, jazz, funk…any suggestions appreciated!)

**Sunday** – Edo-Tokyo Open Air Architectural Museum, Kichijoji, Inokashira Park, Harmonica Yokocho

**Monday** – Nakano Broadway and surrounding area, Koenji

**Tuesday** – Ikebukuro during day. Transfer to second lodging in Minato. Shimbashi or Tokyo Tower area at night

**Wednesday** – Asakusa (Senso-ji, Kimono rental, Kappabashi Street), maybe Ueno area, Yanaka Ginza, Sumida park at night time

**Thursday** – teamLab Borderless reservation at noon, up to Ginza for Itoya and Muji, Odaiba maybe for Miraikan, Rainbow Bridge

**Friday** – Possible day trip somewhere – Kamakura or Yokohama

**Saturday** – open

**Sunday** – leave

So, are certain areas better on certain days? I mean, is there stuff to do in Koenji on a Monday? Is it better to go to Jimbocho on a weekday? Is it better/easier to catch a live jazz/house/etc. show on the weekend or can we find them on weeknights, as well? Thanks in advance!
