Hello, we are 2 people traveling to Tokyo in about a month. After staying in Tokyo for 3 days we’re heading to Kyoto for 3 days before heading back to Tokyo. Now we really want seats on the side facing Mt. Fuji. However I found their website to be a bit, bad for lack of better words, and I’m also curious if it will be problematic extracting the tickets I purchase, as I’m buying for both of us and we don’t have a suica cards.
To specify the questions:
1. Does the train seats facing Mt. Fuji get reserved in advance, or are they available for purchase at the tranistation a couple of days in advance?
2. If I should book in advance, and I don’t have a suice card, what is the best way to extract both tickets?
3. If I manage to create virtual Suica cards in advance for the both of us, can I add each reservation on the different cards, or do I add both on 1 suica card?
Lastly, any other tips is appreciated. I also looked at Klook, and the prices don’t seem to differ that much, maybe its easier using them?
