I doubt that I can succeed in Japan…

I applied for a job in Japan in a restaurant in the fall (in Kamakura). I passed the interview and the company submitted documents for my certificate. After almost six months, today I received a Certificate of Eligibility. But I have a million doubts in my head. Will I be able to realize myself there, find a better job, change my field of activity, and so on. And if I fail to realize myself, will I waste too much time in vain? I am now 23. And I come from a not very developed country. But still, I am faced with the difficult choice of building a career here in my country as a translator, or taking a risk and going to Japan in the hope that I can realize myself there. Anyone who worked on an international services visa, could you tell about your experience in Japan? Are there any chances to be realized in other areas and find a better job and build a career? I understand that this depends on my skills. But for now, I can just speak Japanese, English and my two native languages, which are not very popular in Japan. If I study independently, will I be able to find a Job in IT or other fields? I understand that the decision is mine, but still… I want to know about experience of other people if it’s possible…
