Hello!
Me and my partner will be travelling through Japan and getting married in Kyoto on Friday 17th May. We’re not having a ceremony and it will be just the two of us visiting a Ward office in the morning for the actual procedure, leaving us the rest of the day to do something special and romantic… so we’re looking for any ideas! Ideas we’ve had so far include…
* Seeing the Kamogawa Odori
* Booking in a tea ceremony (any suggestions?)
* Walking from Kurame to Kibune and finding a nice riverside restaurant for dinner
We’d like to do something cultural and memorable, perhaps just the two of us, that might give us an excuse to dress up a bit – ideally avoiding crowds or excessive travel out of Kyoto.
You guys have so much knowledge and we’d be really grateful for any ideas!
EDIT: We’ve already planned registering the marriage and a good idea of all the paperwork/admin this will entail – just looking for interesting/romantic/private activities suggestions 🙂
