Hello, I’m a university student and i would like to go to Japan (probably in Tokyo but not necessarily) for 2 semesters or maybe for 1 semester and stay there the rest of the time just visiting the country. How doable is the second option? And do you think it’s recommended? My main concern is housing, but i’d like to hear any comments or suggestions about this (especially if you have had some similar experiences). I’ve read in this very subreddit that there are several services that offer short-term housing but which one could be the best for a student who wants to visit all around Japan? Also, how hard would it be to get a visitor/tourist visa after my student visa? Thank you!
