Hi all,
My girlfriend and I have been living in Kyoto for the last three months and are moving to Tokyo very soon. We have 12 days to fill after we leave our Kyoto spot and move into our Tokyo spot as our short term lease is ending. We have been staying in furnished rentals so we basically only will have a backpack and suitcase each with us.
I’m looking for recommendations on where to stay in this time, ideally something not too expensive. I currently have a nice cancellable hotel near Shizuoka which is 6500 yen per night, but I thought I would poll the crowd to see if there are any suggestions.
I will be working remote so ideally somewhere where that won’t be too difficult. Best case scenario it’s not too far from a nice beach as well.
