Can someone help me on whether this is a realistic plan? We hopefully will be getting tickets for the Nagoya sumo tournament on a weekday in July. Matches end at 6 pm according to the website. We’re going to need to exit the arena & then take a cab from Dolphins Arena to Nagoya Station (I don’t know how hard it’ll be to get a cab, so though the google maps estimate says 11 mins, I thought I’d give us 30 to exit, find a cab & go), so let’s say 6:30 pm. We’re planning on taking the Nozomi to Osaka, so I was going to give us an hour to get our luggage out of coin locker at Nagoya, grab a bento, and load the train (going to purchase tix in advance based on your advice) which would make train reservation for 7:30 pm.
Is this realistic? Am I giving us too little time/too much time?
