Japan Adventure: Need Help with Final Inputs (Less Than 48 Hours Until Takeoff!)

Hey everyone,

I’m leaving for my first trip to Japan in just two days! I’ve been wanting to do this forever and I’m really excited to explore.

**About Me:**

* 28-year-old visitor interested in food (especially trying new things!), technology, Pokemon, Doraemon, Shin Chan, and Disney.
* Looking for a mix of relaxation, exploration, and maybe even some new experiences.

**The Itinerary (So Far):**

* **Osaka (May 8th-10th):**
* Landing in Namba on the 8th.
* Visiting Osaka Castle and Dotombori on the 9th. Open to suggestions for other cool things to do!
* On the 10th, forwarding luggage to Kyoto and taking a side trip to Nara.
* **Kyoto (May 11th-14th):**
* Staying near Gion and planning to visit Fushimi Inari Shrine, Kiyomizu-dera Temple, Kinkaku-ji Temple,Nijo Castle, and the Imperial Palace. Open to advice on what to prioritize and how to structure my days efficiently.
* Leaving for Tokyo on the 14th, either by Shinkansen or flying out of KIX.
* **Tokyo (May 14th-23rd):**
* Staying in Ginza near the station.
* Interested in: Street Mario Kart, TeamLabs Borderless, Pokemon Centers & Cafes, DisneySea or Land, a possible Mt. Fuji day trip, exploring Akihabara, Shibuya, Shinjuku, the Nintendo Store, Doraemon adventures, the Harry Potter Studio, Tokyo Tower, and Skytree. Open to more ideas here too!
* **Onsen Adventure:**
* Considering a side trip to Hakone for a relaxing soak in a traditional Japanese onsen. Wondering if a day trip is doable or if an overnight stay is recommended.

**Getting Around:**

* Looking for budget-friendly and convenient transportation options, including taxi apps and other helpful apps.

**Feeling a Little Overwhelmed:**

* My itinerary seems quite packed, and I’m worried I won’t have enough time to relax and enjoy everything. Any tips on prioritizing and ensuring a relaxing experience?
* Traveling alone is new for me, so I’d love suggestions for experiencing Tokyo’s nightlife and meeting fellow travelers.
* Overall, any advice for a first-time visitor to Japan to relax, have fun, and make the most of this trip?

**Bonus points:**

* Recommendations for hidden gem vegetarian restaurants or must-try Japanese dishes (especially vegetarian options!)

Thanks in advance for your help!
