This sub has been a great help to me over the last few months as my spouse and I have been planning our first visit to Japan. Our trip is just around the corner so I thought I would throw our latest Itinerary up in case any of you have any last minute tips or suggestions for us.
We ended up splitting our time in Toyko into two halves because we are flying through Narita both ways. Otherwise I tried to minimize the number of hotel changes as much as possible. I was a bit bummed that we couldn’t get Ghibli Museum tickets but I’m still super stoked for this trip!

Arrive in Narita
Get sim, suica, and cash

Boat to Obadai (Gundam Store / Diver City Mall, Rainbow Bridge)

Explore Akihabara (namco arcade, mandrake complex, animate, ect.)
Send luggage to hotel in Kyoto
