Are peanuts common in Japan? Are food labelled with allergies like in Europe? I’m planning to travel across Japan solo, so I won’t have a ‘tester’ with me. I’d appreciate any advice on how to travel there with an allergy. Or do I just miss out on the food aspect and play it safe and have basic meals.
