LINEMO users who have been traveling outside Japan, were you able to receive SMS overseas?
The info I have on LINEMO website is they have a flat rate call roaming option and data roaming option, which one can apply for after 5 months.
I wonder if even without applying for those, will there still be coverage to receive an SMS for Bank/credit card one-time-passwords ?
I previously use GTN’s Ymobile sim and it has totally no coverage at all in outside Japan, which gave me lots of trouble with OTP verifications and stuff.
Please let me know your experience. Thank you.
