Is it ok to practice handwriting on Ipad?

Not exclusively, but in addition.

  1. Sure, I use my ipad to practice writing kanji and even calligraphy. I can practice many many times without wasting paper or needing to buy ink. It just depends on why you are using this method over traditional paper and pen.

  2. Of course it’s okay! I write exclusively on my iPad since I got it to save clutter, and also the fact that I will be learning Japanese for years so I’d be saving tons of paper. My handwriting it perfectly fine on the iPad, and if I do write on paper (rarely) I find that my handwriting is actually kind of better.
