Hi everyone! As the title suggests, I am living in Japan now and I would like to know if anyone can recommend shops that can appraise luxury goods?
I bought a Loewe wallet from Mercari and the seller had a receipt enclosed, I used it for a few months and decided to sell it. But when the next buyer bought it, he/she claimed that it’s a fake product and was able to provide pictures and convincing statements. I would say it’s convincing because it sounds genuine, but I’m no expert myself so I can’t say for sure how true it is. Anyway, I granted a refund and took the item back.
I would like to have it appraised to see if it’s an authentic product or not, because I’m just as shocked to know that there’s a possibility that it may be a counterfeit product. Expensive lesson learnt but for the sake of myself (and in hopes of putting it up for sale again), I would like to know the authenticity of the product. Thanks in advanced!
