A bit of advanced research here for my trip in the summer. Will be landing at Haneda at 9.30pm and will depart south for Izu-Shimoda the next and will take the advice to stay at Shinagawa for the night vs at Shinjuku/Shibuya.
1. Just to confirm (from reading past posts), I should be targeting the North or Main towers for Shinagawa Prince hotel, as that’s the closest to the station. Will be lugging 2 bags the next day from the hotel to the train station for my trip down south so the closer the better
2. As I’ll be getting in pretty late, are there any interesting late night eats in the area of the hotel? Late night vending machine ramen places, izakaya etc. that you would recommend?
3. Similarly, I’ll be up early (skipping hotel fare in lieu of more local food), any good spots for a simple breakfast? Heck, I’d be happy with a coffee and a sando before I check out and head to the station
