I need to find clothes in Tokyo, but I really struggled to find what I am looking for.
I am looking for clothes of good quality, that have a country of origin that can guarantee that no slaves or children have been exploited to make them. Yeah, that’s pretty basic, but I couldn’t find anything that fit my criteria so far.
I know that regarding those criteria, the price will be on the higher range. I am willing to pay more but not crazy high. What I mean is that I am not looking for some super fancy small artist shops, just something that has a good quality and that respects the workers that made my clothes.
For now I could only find those two extremes: super eccentric and expansive clothes, or super cheap and unethical ones (like uniqlo, muji, or any kind of big popular clothing stores).
I tried my chance on second hand shops, but haven’t been successful so far. I will give it another try but that takes time and I would like to explore other options.
