I don’t know if it’s just me. I eat out everyday and i am getting to a point where there is no restaurant i want to go into because it’s literally just the same everywhere. The lack of vegetable also kind of sucks. I went to Shin-Okubo yesterday and i realize the lack of depth Japanese cuisine has.
I saw another post [here](https://www.reddit.com/r/japanlife/comments/194f5cl/how_does_everyone_handle_the_lack_of_variety_in/) and it seems like people actually agree. I thought it would be a very unpopular opinion.
I know it’s like a first world problem but i also think it’s important for gaijins to have variety in dining experience for the sake of mental health and just being able to enjoy the country so you don’t get jaded like so many people who are here long term. I would love it if people are able to drop some ethnic restaurants and also maybe some wisdom on how they keep the variety going and keep things feeling fresh
