Hello all! My sister and I are planning our trip to Tokyo. It’s our first time visiting, and we’ll be there from late May to early June, about 8 to 9 days overall. We want to explore Tokyo as much as possible, so we are limiting ourselves to one or two day trips max.
Just to give you a bit of background on what we’re into: I’m a big food guy (sidenote, due to religion me and my sister can’t eat beef or pork) and I’m also really into anime, video games, tech, and nature. Meanwhile, my sister likes exploring shrines and temples, shopping, and checking out art. We also love adventure activities.
The itinerary I’ve attached is a bit weird, but let me explain it real quick. The first part lays out the days I’ve organized based on cities and experiences. I use these days to plan the dates, but to allow flexibility. Anything with links is either something I’ve already looked into for booking. Additionally, I’ve included some general questions in parentheses for specific days.

Day A – Arrival Day

Day B – Roppongi
* Visit Mori Art Museum
* Visit Tokyo tower
* Visit Mohri Garden
* (For Roppongi I haven’t done too much research on for food and other activates, if anyone has recommendations I would love to know.)
Day C – Ginza

Day E – Shibuya

Day F – Day Trips
* Option 1 – Mt Fuji

* (I apologizes, I haven’t done much research into these days)
* Option 2 – Nikko
* Visit and see Toshogu Shrine
* Perhaps book a private tour
* See Kegon Falls
* Enjoy one of the Hot Springs
Day G – Extra Attractions
* (So this is more of a place for me to put the trips I can’t seem to find a place to fit, I would love advice as I would really love to do the first two experiences.)
