Edit for clarity: it’s for a 4 year undergraduate degree, not a language school. Also editing to clarify that I’m looking for others to share their experience with this process and how it went for them, what they had to show, etc. i want to be prepared going into this. I have more than enough saved, that isn’t what I’m asking. I’m a self supporting student and I just wanted to know how that went for other self supporting students.
For those of you who have went through this process, what did you show? What were you asked for to prove income? I know you are required around $15k USD for a student visa and can show proof that you can take care of yourself, accommodations, emergency flights home, etc.
I’m just wondering how this process was for others, specifically self supporting students. I’m a nontraditional student and self supporting who is saving up and has been for a couple years now.
Also before anyone jumps down my throat about not being able to support myself or whatever, I have saved a lot, I’ll also take out loans, I plan to work (28 hours a week), and I am receiving grants and scholarships.
