I’m visiting Japan, I want to train from Shinagawa to Matsumoto via Shinjuku. In Shinjuku I’d arrive on the Yamanote line and leave on the Chuo line (limited express).
My query is…what tickets do I put in the gates?
From what I see, transferring in Shinjuku wouldn’t go through any gates, just changing platforms right? So would I insert all tickets when entering Shinagawa station??
