I would like to preface by saying that I will be in university for quite a while, as I will be doing a phd after graduating with my bachelors. Due to this, there is a high chance of me being on a student visa for the entirety of my study period, even while studying for my phd. Therefor I have formulated somewhat of a plan to fast track my way to gaining PR, as I plan on living in Japan long term. I have two ways of going about this, both of which involve the creation of a 合同会社 .
Option 1 is as follows: I create the 合同会社, which I will the use in order to obtain a business manager visa and via the HSP point system will allow me to qualify for PR status by the time I graduate.
Option 2: The same as option 1 in creating a 合同会社, but I would not be aiming for a business manager visa which are somewhat difficult to obtain due to strict requirements. Through the 合同会社 I will then hire myself through the company via a specified skilled work visa, which will then later allow me to qualify for PR by the time I graduate or roughly 1 year after I graduate.
I know both ways have their own set of difficulties, but for my long term goals in Japan it makes things a lot easier for me if I get PR status as quickly as possible. I didn’t go into the fine details about the business idea for option 1, nor the type of job for option 2. I have the details thought out, but it would take a while to write everything up, so I decided to keep this short. What do you think of my plans? Do you have a better recommendation, or perhaps I am overlooking something?
