I’m going with a group of 6 to Yakushima later this year and we’re trying to decide if we should rent one van that would accommodate all six of us or two small cars where we would be split up. At least two people in our group feel confident driving so that wouldn’t be an issue. I’m mostly wondering if we rented a van, would we be able to access most of the roads? I’ve read that they can get pretty narrow at times.
