Returning a Mattress on Amazon

So I recently bought the wrong sized mattress on Amazon and it came very vacuum sealed in a small box. Problem is, I already opened it before realizing my mistake and was wondering if anyone had advice on how to go about returning this? Obviously there’s no way for me to replace the plastic and put it back in the box.

  1. It probably depends on whether it was sold directly by Amazon or a third-party seller. You’ll have to check the return policy of the seller. You can submit a return request from your account and see how they respond.

  2. Just put in another box and request a pick up.I have returned stuff without original packing, manual, plastic bag, box and I got my full refund without any problem.

EDIT: thx for the downvote. If I were OP I would get a bunch of boxes from grocery store then make my own box. Unless someone have a better solution.

  3. Would they accept a return of an open mattress? It’s a health issue at that point and most companies would say no.
