Hi /r/JapanTravel we are a group of 5 traveling for 15 days. Looking to get feedback on this itinerary as well as any recommendations. Things we like: shopping malls, coffee, watches, electronics.
We are landing in Osaka the night before.

## Day 2 – Not planned

## Day 3 – Nara

* Morning hike on Mount Wakakusa
* Todai-ji
* Kofukuji
* Nakatanidou
Definitely want to do the small hike, not sure if both temples are worth.
## Day 4 – Namba (part 2), teamLabs

Rest day and Namba leftovers.
* Namba Yasaka Shrine
* teamLab reservation at night
## Day 5 – Universal
*Hotel: Namba area*
From what I’ve read:
* The park opens earlier than advertised
* For Nintendo world we’ll have to reserve a time through the app or at the park the day of
## Day 6 – Rest
*Hotel: Namba area*
Slow day. Walk around whichever area we haven’t planned for.

Shipping luggage, checking out of hotel and traveling to Arashiyama.
* 12pm lunch reservation for Steak Otsuka
* 14:30pm Sagano Rail ride from Torokko -> Arashiyama
* Bamboo forest
* Togetsukyo bridge
* Monkey park
## Day 8 – Central Kyoto

* Kyoto Imperial Palace
* Pontocho Alley
* Nishiki Market
* 19:30pm dinner reservation for Ryoriya Otaya
## Day 9 – Gion
*Hotel: Shimogyo ward area*
* Philosopher’s Path
* Kodaiji Temple
* Tearooms
## Day 10 – More Kyoto
*Hotel: Shimogyo ward area*
* Kinkaku-ji
* Kazariya
(Temple fatigue yet?)

Shipping luggage, checking out of hotel and traveling back to Osaka.
## Day 12 – Kita ward

* Umeda Sky
* Hankyu Umeda

## Day 13 & 14 – Not planned

Day trip to Hiroshima & Miyajima Island?
## Day 15 – Return flight
Flight back is at night (Itami airport) so we’ll half a day to wander around.

There’s about 4 days with no plan of which area to walk around so we could definitely fit another city.
