I’m a student in Japan and i want to get a phone plan for both data and ocassional phone calls/sms. I arrived a month ago and i have been using a rental sim I got at the airport, but it’s expensive so i’m looking for a longer-term plan. However, from what i looked into, usually the contracts are for two year, and I most likely won’t be here for the full two years. Are there any contracts? Or can i just get a 2 year contract and then cancel it when i leave? Although maybe that won’t be possible because my student visa is only for a year and three months. So yeah, if anyone has any recommendations i’d be grateful!
