On the plate to the left: spinach gomaae, tamagoyaki, natto, and picked cucumbers.
The rest is: salted salmon, miso soup (with cabbage, tofu, and shiitake), and rice with tsukudani.
Tea is sencha coated with matcha powder. It was a perfect breakfast!
What’s in the rice that gives it purplish hue?
That looks so delicious!
Yum!!! Looks so healthy and fulfilling 💫
Is this for one person?!
Looks so good! How do you have time for all this in the morning? What’s the secret?!
How do you people have time, I eat a protein bar as I weave in and out of traffic in the morning?!?
I’m jealous, beats cereal every morning!
Did you eat for the rest of the day? 😉
Looks exquisite!
it definitely looks very nice! I’ve been wanting to get a tray and some tiny dishes so my presentations feel a little more Japanese.
I’ve always wanted to try natto, but every time I go to the store I’m just a wimp. any tips? :’)
I love how simple yet scrumptious Japanese home breakfasts are. I’m sure a lot of them do have just bread and coffee/tea in this modern era but i just love looking at these traditional breakfast meals that usually looks somewhat simple but intricate at the same time!
This looks so good!!! Thank you for sharing this. 🙂
Wow, It is Fantastic! It is Authentic Japanese Breakfast! I’m wondering what is next to Salmon to the Right? Is this Soy Sauce container?
