I (21F) am visiting Japan for two weeks coming up. I am going with my boyfriend and we both have never really travelled anywhere. I really want advice on the itinerary since we’re untraveled and would love feedback. Thank you all in advance!!
Day 1:
Land in narita at 12:30 pm.
-get e sim at airport?
-suica card already on apple wallet
-take bus to hotel in Akasaka
-exchange money at 7/11
-go to shinjuku once unpacked
-get dinner somewhere/explore
-see cross space billboard
-golden gai for drinks
-explore red light district
Day 2: shibuya
-shibuya crossing
-hachiko dog statue
-(need other activities here in shibuya)
-Ueobi sushi? Or Togoshiya
-dagashi bar
-shibuya sky booked for 8:20.
-could go back to shinjuku for nightlife. Karaoke?
Day3: shinjuku
– Gyeon park
– Metropolitan government building
– Tanbo yoyogi for lunch
– Harajuku?
– Roppongi for night drinks/food. 15 min walk to hotel.
Day 4: akiahabara
– tsukiji market for breakfast
– Team labs borderless at 12pm
– Akiahabra for maid cafe and…..
– Possibly visit sensoji temple in evening?
Day 5: day trip to Kamakura
– Visit the Buddha statue
– Visit beach
– Stop at Yokohama on the way back
Day 6: Travel to Osaka
– Need something for morning
– take Shinkansen at 12:30 to Osaka
– Explore Osaka and dontonburi
Day 7:
– visit shinseki
– Shinsaibashi
Day 8: day trip to Himeji Castle/Kobe
– Take Shinkansen to himeji castle explore
– Stop in Kobe on the way back for dinner etc
Day 9: Osaka
-unsure of what we will do this day.
-universal is out of budget
Day 10: travel to Kyoto
– need something to do in morning in Osaka area
– Take Special zen garden train!
– Get ramen at honke daiichi arashi
Day 11:
– Nishiki market
– Wander around gion and southern higashiyama
– Visit kodaiji temple, yasaka shrine, kenninji temple.
– Eat at tempura endo yasaka
Day 12: Nara!
– hike through torii gates at fushimi inari shrine
– Go to Nara, see deer, have mochi
Day 13:
– flex morning in Kyoto
– Shinkansen back to Tokyo
– Last minute shopping
Day 14: leave at 3:30.
as you can see there are a lot of blank spots especially in Osaka. I’m open to any and all suggestions. Thank you again!!
