I’m way too indecisive and need guidance!
I’m going to be in Japan from late on 9th May until early on 29th of May, this will be my third trip but I’m going with people who have never been . The only new place I’m going to is Matsue & Izumo, I’ve been to Osaka, Tokyo and Kyoto twice and Hiroshima once.
I’ll definitely be in Tokyo from late 9th- early 12th and late 20th until early 29th.
Basically I can’t decide whether I should allocate a day / night to Kyoto, Hiroshima or Matsue- there’s lots of things I’d like to do in each place that I can’t fit at the moment.
So for the 12th until the 20th here are my possible options:

12 tokyo > Kyoto early
13 Kyoto
14 Kyoto
15 Kyoto > Matsue early
16 Izumo
17 Matsue > Hiroshima early
18 Hiroshima > Himeji > Osaka
19 Osaka
20 Osaka > Tokyo late

12 Tokyo > Kyoto early
13 Kyoto
14 Kyoto
15 Kyoto
16 Kyoto > Matsue early
17 Izumo
18 Matsue > Himeji > Osaka
19 Osaka
20 Osaka > Tokyo late
Option 3
12 Tokyo > Kyoto early
13 Kyoto

15 Kyoto > Matsue early
