Just got Canada results back and no interview, I know most of the discussion here is about ALT’s but I was curious if anyone who got selected this year or in a previous year had any insight into what they really look for in a CIR candidate.
For example, with the CIR position, is something like prior work experience more heavily weighed in the consideration process when compared to ALT’s? Because I know a lot of people say the SOP is the main thing they focus on but I wasn’t sure if that’s the case for CIR’s.
I also understand there’s significantly less positions available for potential CIR’s, but it seemed like a pretty interesting work opportunity so I figured I’d give it a shot.
Also congrats to everyone who got an interview !
