Im visiting Japan in October, and Im gathering tips on small cities/rural areas that are accessible by trains / buses easily around Kyoto and between Kyoto and Hiroshima. I want to avoid the most known tourist attractions since I think the experience would be ruined by the crowds (yep not a people person) Any tips?
