Taking a trip next year starting in Philippines and ending with a one to one and a half weeks in Japan. To avoid the VERY hot Philippine summer we were thinking about arriving in Tokyo in mid March. What are the pros and cons of this time of year? We are from Canada so the cold isn’t really that cold to us but still wanted the trip to be pleasant as we are travelling with kids who will be 6 year old and 1.5 year old at the time of the trip. My biggest issue is finding a time where its not too hot in Philippines and not too cold in Tokyo.
I read about the students spring break being the last week of march and first week of April. Planning on doing Disney for a few days and wanted to avoid that time. Also the cheery blossoms will be around that time. Although it would be nice to see that, we are not planning our trip around that. I am assuming that hotels and everything else would be more expensive that time of year…Any help would be great. Thanks!
