   I am employeed and working in India and pay my taxes in India, my job is remote. I want to come to japan and stay with my friend and continue working for Indian company and pay taxes in India. I am planning to come for 90 days on tourist visa and then extend the visa if required.
   Also I am planning to increase the stay and want to stay around 6 months, is there any Visa type that can help me ?(Nomad work visa is not for Indian) Do I have tax obligations in Japan?

   This is what the digital nomad visa is for.

   Then you can’t legally do that.

3. You are not allowed to work remotely while on a tourist visa. While it may not come up when you do a 10 day trip to Japan, 3 months and extending it is going to throw up red flags.

4. You cannot work on a tourist visa.
   If you are looking for a visa that will allow you to stay longer than a 90 day tourist visa, you need to indicate what you will be doing here. Studying? Working? Once you figure that out you’ll be able to find the visa you need to apply for and the requirements for each.

5. I think you’ll have no chance to accomplish that plan, unless India and Japan enter into Digital Nomad Visa agreement…
