Im currently living here registered under a MOFA visa and I was wondering if I’m able to register for any online shopping apps (mercari, yahoo auctions, and such) because for the 2 years Ive lived here mercari has always said “会員登録できません” to my phone number verification, keep in mind I have a japanese based phone number. I’ve tried googling solutions but none of them have worked, so mercari was out of the options. Yahoo auctions, I was able to make an account but now Im unable to list things as-well as purchase things because its asking me to verify my identity which is impossible since I don’t have a japanese passport, drivers license nor insurance card. Ive tried verifying with my MOFA id but they don’t accept it. I’m moving soon and am planning to sell stuff online, so if anyone has any solutions to this please let me know😞🙏
