So I’m a lisenced financial advisor in Canada. My question is if I’m visiting Japan either on vacation or using the new digital nomad visa, would I need to be licensed in Japan in order to service my Canadian clients?
For example, if a client phones me to contribute to or withdraw money from their retirement account.
I don’t sell stocks, it’s all mutual funds.
