Full Day Itinerary for Kawaguchiko

Me and 2 other friends are going to Kawaguchiko for a full day, and we plan on biking and taking buses, but the schedule seems a bit tight. There’s so many places we want to go, and I can’t exactly figure out transportation times from place to place. Our hotel is Kakureyado if that helps.

Day 1:

7:45 Wake up and eat breakfast

9:00 Take shuttle from hotel to Kawaguchiko Station

9:15 Take pictures at famous Lawson near Kawaguchiko Station

9:30 Rent bikes from nearby bike rental services

11:00 Take pictures at Oishi Park and find a place to eat

1:30 Be back at Kawaguchiko Station and return bikes

2:00 Take a cab to Chureito Pagoda from Kawaguchiko Station

4:00 Walk to Honcho St. (30 min)

4:45 Explore Fujiyoshida

6:00/7:00 Find a place to eat and cab back to the hotel for the night

Day 2:

9:20 Leave from Kawaguchiko Station Platform 6 to Mishima Station

11:00 Reach Mishima Station

11:46 Take Shinkansen from Mishima Station to Kyoto Station

Questions:

Is this plan even feasible for one day, and will transportation be a major limiting factor?

Is the connection to Mishima and then to Kyoto feasible, and does it require any extra booking aside from the two tickets?

Lastly, I’m pretty sure that the ticket to Mishima can be paid via SUICA and the Shinkansen to Kyoto can be covered by JR Pass, but I do not know 100%.

Sorry for the long post, and I hope this is enough information to ask for help on 😭 Thank you so much in advance for any help, and I greatly appreciate you even reading this post 🙂
