Hello everyone!
I have a question regarding participation in the Sumiyoshi festival in Osaka in late July/beginning of August. I’ve read on a few websites that you can participate in carrying the shrine as a (male) tourist. However, I wasn’t able to find any information about how to get involved specifically.
Does anybody know more about this? If this is true, I would love to be part of such a culturally significant event.
