I booked an overnight bus from Osaka to Tokyo on a JR Bus but the confirmation we received said you can only bring a small carry-on bag limit of 10kg and that larger pieces can not be loaded onto the bus.

does anyone have experience with this – can we pay them somehow or will they just allow it since its only a luggage and not some large item like a bike/surfboard. 3 people in our group but we only have 1 larger luggage that we need to figure out what to do with
is my only option to use luggage forwarding for the 1 piece? we do have a different reservation thru willer for another bus if we cant go on this JR one. We wanted to go with the JR bus because we got the nicer separated seats on the Dream Rurier
