Tried the kewpie mayo/egg ramen. I rate it 7/10.

    It was tasty and creamy, but I deviated from the recipe a little which altered the broth texture. I drained the starchy cooking water and used new hot water in the broth, because I like to get rid of the excess oil in the initial cooking liquid. Then after mixing the broth and noodles, I returned them into the pot to boil and I think this caused the egg to cook fully and split a little. I also only used half a pack of the seasoning sachet as I find the whole thing way too salty and spicy!

    I used Shin Ramyun. Next time I’m craving a quick lunch, I will have to try it with Japanese ramen and actually follow the instructions lol.

  2. I do this “hack” almost every time I make ramen, I find it really elevates it.
