  1. I mean it depends on you and how much you want to do in each area. Seems reasonable outside of a lot of luggage shipping.

  2. Lack of info. Like what will you do exactly?

Really questionable itinerary here: Okayama then 1 day Kanazawa then Aomori/Akita?

You will spend a lot of time on moving your luggage around.

  3. I think it’s a bit problematic. Kanazawa and Sendai you want 2+ days to get the most out of as there are great day trip options from each. Additionally, Okayama->Kanazawa, Kanazawa->Aomori, Sendai->Kawaguchiko will each be at least half a day spent travelling, which doesn’t really seem factored in here. I’d consider cutting at least one city out of this, whichever excites you least, and then rearranging things a bit to cut the train journeys into manageable lengths. If you are visiting Aomori you probably want to fly from Osaka or Kobe. If you decide on visiting Kanazawa for one day only, your best plan IMO is to day trip from Kyoto, because it’s poorly-connected to anywhere else you are visiting except Tokyo.

  4. 1-5 are fine

Afterwards it’s very ineffecient and doesn’t make much sense.

I would rethink where you really want to see and try and take travel time into consideration, you could easily remove a couple of days from Tokyo to make things easier.

    Some ideas:

    1) Drop Tohoku and Kanazawa, allow more time for Hiroshima, could visit Onomichi, maybe do shimanamikaido or visit inland sea islands such as shodoshima or Naoshima.

    2) Drop Tohoku, spend more time in Kanazawa and add Okuhida, Kamikochi, Takayama etc.

    3) Drop Kanazawa and a few days from Tokyo and spend more time coming back from Aomori (Kakunodate, Morioka, Hachimantai,Hiraizumi, Yamadera, Matsushima, Aizuwakamatsu are some of the options.)
