I was really expecting LIJ to beat the War Dogs for the Jr Tag belts. I think it made a lot of sense for several reasons.
It would have given Hiromu something to do without winning the BOSJ or Jr title.
It would be nice for Bushi to get a win and accolade he deserves it.
The War Dogs, whilst great have cleared through the division and we don’t want them to get stale as well. They have had already had a strong reign. Moreover, Hiromu and Bushi being a team we don’t get too much from. We have BOSJ next up sure, but who would be next to challenge?
Lastly, Connors and Moloney deserve to have some more attention as singles stars such as a strong individual push for both in the BOSJ even potential semi finalists/finalists. Or even back to back singles challenges later in the year. Another option is them going for the 6 man belts as well.
It’s a minor thing, I just thought it would have been a good decision to put the belts on LIJ and off the War Dogs.
