So I am doing a dispatch employee at X company and currently looking for a side income. I applied to A company for freelancing and they said I am eligible, but I need to fill my own taxes.
The problem here is that the tax for the side work income is around generally 20% (can be little bit different depending on the income) when I searched it on internet.
So in simple terms, if I make 2000 yen/h as a side income, I need to pay 400 yen for tax.
Is this true? I feel this is too much.
