Many Japanese TV programs will reenact stories for TV. I’ve noticed that many of them reenact stories that take place overseas and they seem to be filmed there. They get actors, film on locations, must have a crew, a schedule, etc. In general it seems the production quality is quite high.
I’ve always been curious where/how/when are these reenactments filmed? Is there a particular production company that does them? It really seems like a lot of work goes into to them (especially the ones reenacting a homicide) and yet it’s for some Japanese TV show that will air once.
