We will be traveling in Japan as a family of 4 with 2 small children (yay!!). The total trip will be 3 months, but in order to not overwhelm the kiddos we will do 3x 1 month in a different location and Airbnb. So far we settled on the 2nd month in Osaka (october) and 3rd in Fukuoka (november). I am looking for suggestions for that 1st month. We do land on Tokyo but we were not necessarily looking to stay there. Ideally we’d like to be close-ish to a beach as it will be September and still quite warm. We’d love access to more nature in general but we know we have to compromise in order to find a good airbnb. Maybe east of Tokyo? Or somewhere on the west shore?
