I’m looking for a property in an area that has a very limited supply. I found an area of land that I like, but there is one of those small rental apartments (not mansion) on the plot.
What are my options?
The building itself looks in good condition. Could I buy the whole building and use the frame as a skeleton for a new house?
Any regulations that state certain land must be used as an apartment?
Edit: The building is vacant, only two units.
