University and JLPT

Hi. I’m new here, so if I make any mistakes in my post, my apologies.
I would like to do my N3 in July of 2025, as I have been consistent in learning, and I have started Japanese last December, and I finished N5.
In december of 2025, i would be moving to Japan, through a specialised visa, that I am currently signing papers for.
After my arrival, from Dec 2025 until June 2026, I would like to go to a language school. And in in September 2026, I would like to go to university.
I heard from multiple sources, that in order to do a degree in Japan in Japanese, instead of English (I would very much prefer learning in Japanese because of the specialised language of my field and I wouldn’t mind additional practice on a daily basis either), however universities require an N2 from foreign students as a requirement to learn subjects in Japanese.
However, I am a bit worried, because I will only be completing N2 in July that year, and as I read online, it takes about a month and a half to get results back from the JLPT test, so that would be around the third week of August.
What I’m wondering, if that would still be enough for them to put me on a course that is taught in japanese? Is there any way I can argue for my case? Could I make a deal with them that even if they’re not willing to put me there, if i get into the course, reserve a space for me in both the japanese and the english-taught course so if i fail/don’t take the exam i can do it in english, but if i pass N2, like I promised, there would be space for me in the Japanese-taught course?
Also because I would go to a language school about 6 months, I would be wondering if all the options I mentioned above come to nothing, can the language school give me references that I have studied there for 6 months, and confidently at an N2 ability, even if I did not take the JLPT? Can they give me some sort of alternative exam I can take at any time to prove my abilities for uni applications?
Thank you very much in advance.
