So… For the past year, I had trouble sending money from a Canadian Bank to WISE, as the bank refused to transfer direct money into my WISE account.
The only solution is e-transfer, but banks like TD capped how much you can send per day, week, or month. Seems like they use an accumulation system that caps, therefore if you send a large amount, it could take weeks or months.
For example, you send $1 daily, but the weekly is capped at $7, so you need to wait for a few days for the limit to reset itself, etc. Meaning you may send $1 per day, but the week is capped at $7, and the month is capped again at $30, and there is a countdown in days until you can send again. So if you send $30 in that month, you can’t send again until next month. very frustrating.
Does anyone has a solution to this? Like has anyone used services like Revolut, or Remitly, in Canada with success? If so, did you have trouble transfer from a Canadian bank to your (i.e.) Revolut account?
Thanks in advance.
