I am a foreigner living in Japan as a teacher.
I’d really like an etc card for my new car as I’ve encountered a few times now where gates are converting to etc only formats and also can save a few bucks by using the card in the long run.
I’ve spent hours trying to research this but of course, some things are not as easy to sort through here info-wise. I know I need a credit card and then can get a separate etc card that’s attached to that, at least I think that’s the way it goes?
Anyway, I currently have a JP Post bank account and would like to know what are your recs for the easiest way to get this dang card.
I already have an ETC reader installed in my car so I’m good there.
