Hello, planning to travel to Japan in August (we can’t take off any other month), to escape the heat we are heading to Hokkaido first and also considering Nagano, Kamikochi, and Kusatsu. Does Nagano city get hot in August too? I would think since it’s higher in elevation it would be cooler but the average temperatures in August there seem quite high. Thank you!
