Hi, not sure if this has been covered before, but I’m an international student earning income from abroad.
Specifically for a consulting company that I am doing remote work for that pays around 350,000¥ per month (depending on USD rate).
The question is: Am I liable to tax, and if so, at what rate, and how do I pay?
I’ve been in Japan for over a year actually, and am concerned if there would be any late payments involved, or even problems with immigration/visa?
