I just went through the process of setting up a Wise account since I have one overseas client who wants to pay me that way. Then there was the problem of getting ¥3,000 into the account, since my debit card refused to work with Wise and they don’t accept credit cards. This step is apparently required before one can actually receive money.
Anyway, I finally got that done and received the payment from the client, but now I can’t do anything with it. There are no options to transfer it to a Japanese bank account or withdraw it in any form. What am I missing or doing wrong?
